New plaques are added to historic walkway

A historic walk celebrating key figures in Dundee’s history has been extended along the city’s waterfront.

Five new Discovery Walk plaques have been added close to the V&A Museum that pay tribute to figures including X-ray pioneer George Pirie and health reformer Thomas Maclagan.

The plaques celebrate people who were born or spent much of their lives in Dundee and made a notable contribution to society.
