Gilmour exits in last eight

Scotland’s Kirsty Gilmour was defeated in the quarterfinals of the women’s singles at the European Championships in Huelva, Spain last night.

The 24-year-old second seed, who is a two-time silver medalist at the event, lost 14-21, 16-21 to sixthseeded Line Kjaersfeldt of Denmark.
