Goths at the gravestone: Crowds pay homage to Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Two ladies are pictured at the Whitby Goth Weekend in Yorkshire, where Bram Stoker found some of his inspiration for Dracula after staying in the town in 1890.
The Whitby Goth Week- end is a twice- yearly alternative music festival, organised by Jo Hampshire, consisting of two nights of live bands at venues across the town.
The origins of the festival are in a meeting of around 40 of Ms Hampshire’s pen- pals that took place in 1994.
The event has grown to be one of the world’s most popular goth events which attracts large numbers of attendees from across the globe.
