According to a report by Sky News, supermarket giant Sainsbury’s is in talks to purchase Asda from its current owners, Walmart, for £ 10bn. Sky News reporter @_ Benwright_ tweeted: “A Sainsbury’s + Asda combo would control about 1/ 3 of the UK grocery market...” @ Bootstrapcook wasn’t happy, writing: “For the love of god I’d literally just moved from Sainsburys to Asda because the Sains Basics range is basically twice the price or entirely absent now. Celtic have won their seventh title in a row, securing the championship by beating their fierce rivals 5- 0.
