Two Koreas meet

As Rudyard Kipling’ s poem starts :“Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet…” but North and South have met as the poem further suggests when “… two strong men stand face to face…”.

We may all have concerns and reservatio­ns, but at least one step has been made – well, actually two with the crossing back and forth between the two Koreas. Now we can start to hope. DENNIS FITZGERALD
