Trio rescued after boat filled with water
A boat with three people on board was towed to safety after it began filling with water.
The crew on the vessel Stormbringer Two sent out a Pan-pan call for help at around 12:10pm yesterday.
The boat, thought to be a rigid inflatable boat, was to the east of the Isle of Eigg in the Innerhebrideswhenit began taking on water.
Coastguards said Mallaig RNLI lifeboat went to the scene and towed the boat back to the port.
Two years ago, three men died after fishing boat Louisa sank off the Isle of Mingulay in the Outer Hebrides.
