Trumped by force

The hopeful signs of rapprochement on the Korean peninsula will have the Trump haters in a quandary. Clearly his tough line has reaped dividends and the softly-softly approaches of the past have proven to be a waste of time.

Much as the knee-jerk ‘’Trump-phobes’’ may dislike admitting it, in some cases the threat of the big stick is infinitely more effective than the offer of the carrot.
