Inverness Caley Thistle So near, yet so far

So it was a case of too little too late or so near and yet so far. The last game of our season was in Greenock and a good time was had by all. As a fellow fan stated, we finally have gained our respect and pride back after a pretty long haul.

That late Dunfermline goal the week before was the killer blow to our play-off hopes. However, I can’t help being left with the annoyance that we couldn’t pull off a couple of more wins earlier in the season. In fact, if one of the draws had been a win we would have made it.

As stated, though it wasn’t to be, so we need to now look to next season and try to retain the players we have and recruit well over the close season. Have a great summer everyone!
