Bowleven to push back decision on new chair
Bowl even, the Edinburghbased, Africa-focused oil explorer and producer, has delayed a decision to appoint a new chairman.
The firm said it would not appoint a new external non-executive chairman until there was more clarity on the outcome of the results of a drilling campaign at its Etinde field in Cameroon, expected to commence in the second quarter.
Bowl even said that, in the meantime, Matt McDonald, currently a non- executive director of the company, had been appointed interim nonexecutive chairman, with immediate effect.
The capital firm’s shares are quoted on London’ s junior Alternative Investment Market.
