Rolando goes the extra mile as Marseille see off Salzburg

Marseille defender Rolando struck the decisive goal late in extra time as the French side battled back in Salzburg to reach the Europa League final with a 3- 2 aggregate win.

Amadou Haidara, who was sent off late on, put the Austrians ahead on the night when he fired home a right- footed shot in the 53rd minute.

Salzburg doubled their lead 12 minutes later when Marseille right- back Bouna Sarr put through his own net and, with the tie remaining all square at 2- 2 on aggregate, it went into extra time.

And it was Roland ow ho emerged as the Marseille hero as the Portuguese centrehalf found the bottom corner with a shot following a corner by former West Ham star Dimitri Payet.
