Grave damage

The Clan Fraser grave at Culloden Battlefield is to be sealed off to the public for repairs after the site became popular with Outlander fans.

Have they considered installing a floating boardwalk on top of the surface in high traffic areas so it protects anything below and keeps the site open for tourism despite weather?

It’s unfortunate that some “international” tourists seem to think it’s cool to trample over war graves and don’t treat it with the respect it deserves. If I did that to a grave at Arlington Cemetery I’d be charged, jailed and deported out of the country and placed on the No Fly list for at least ten years if not more.
