Megrahi review

-

Campaigners for Abdel Basset Ali al-megrahi, who was found guilty of carrying out the 1988 Lockerbie bombing, have welcomed the decision to review his conviction.

Megrahi was a terrorist mass murderer and there is no evidence to the contrary. Even the SNP leadership is aware of that, the only fear they have is the exposure of the dodgy dealings of Salmond and Macaskill.

No enemies

See! There is always money to squander. We pretend there is not but there really is.

I know you know

In Scotland we now have a police service and legal profession which, in terms of honesty, is closer than ever to that of Africa.

Let these campaigners pay for this! – I’d rather have a new hospital...

There certainly seems to be sufficient pressure to investigate whether the conviction was beyond all reasonable doubt. Political positioning doesn’t help, ie any decision made by the SNP must be wrong . I think it was Salmond who said something like ‘it is possible to wrongly convict a guilty man’ .

A show trial in Holland that required a guilty party for an horrific crime. Finding a patsy guilty is the worst non-justice available to the victims’ families.

Oz Rules

No other legal system in the world would afford this mass murderer the same review.

That Megrahi is innocent is well-known. We want to know “who done it”.

He was guilty and should never have been released by the Scottish government; no respect for all the American people murdered by him that day; terrorists don’t get compassion; was a lump sum paid to release him? That’s what should be investigated – my daughter is American and she knows in her heart he is guilty as charged.

Charlie

Excellent news. The disgraceful, unlawful investigation, trial and subsequent proceedings were a total sham.
