Don’t rain on my parade: Russians warm up for annual tribute to Second World War victory
Russian cadets march during yesterday’s rehearsal for the Victory Day military parade in Moscow’s Red Square. The parade will take place on Wednesday and celebrates 73 years since the Second World War victory. Some 13,000 Russian soldiers took part in the rehearsal. Marching troops were followed by military vehicles, with two Su-57 fifthgeneration fighter jets and two MIG-31K planes carrying cutting-edge Kinzhal hypersonic missiles taking part. Seventyfive aircraft and helicopters were involved in the rehearsal. Helicopter crews will fly over the parade at speeds of 200kmh
