Solid first-half revenues for bid specialist AM

- By SCOTT REID

AM Bid Services, the bid specialist chaired by Scots rugby legend David Sole, has reported a double-digit hike in revenues for the first half of its financial year.

Reporting revenues of just over £285,000, a rise of 22 per cent on the year before, the firm said its bid win rates have remained high at 80 per cent, with key appointments being made across the UK in Glasgow, London and Manchester to cope with demand.

The business has extended from its core offering of bid and proposal writing to include master-classes, training and bid strategy consultancy.

Founder and managing director, Andrew Morrison, was recognised for his scaling of the business at the Institute of Directors awards earlier in 2018, where he was named Scotland’s emerging director of the year.

David Gray, bid development director, said: “There is an increasing pipeline of opportunities for 2018.”
