Four wanted in connection with late-night attack

A man was left with serious facial injuries following an attack in Aberdeen city centre.

Police are appealing for help tracing four people in connection with the assault, which took place at around 11:30pm on Saturday night.

Officers were called to George Street following reports a man had been attacked near the junction with Powis Place.

The 22-year-old was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he was treated for facial injuries. Three men and a woman are being sought in connection with the incident.
