MHAIRIBLACK

SNP MP Mhairi Black has suggested Jeremy Corbyn is personally sympathetic to Scottish independence. Black said she felt “let down” by the Labour leader, claiming he had “sold his soul over independence”. @Thefont said: “Was this another “confidential” conversation like the one Sturgeon divulged with her and Dugdale?” @Seantduffy tweeted: “Mhairi Black’s fabricated claim says one thing and one thing only – she knows Paisley and Renfrewshire South is going red at the next election.” @Thebluetrot added: “Kezia Dugdale and Nicola Sturgeon? Jeremy Corbyn and Mhairi Black? No surprise about either’s sympathies towards nationalism. The lesson is never trust an SNP politican to keep a private conversation private.”

#GLASGOW QUEEN STREET

Glasgow Queen Street has been given an unwanted accolade after commuters named it Britain’s most unpopular railway station. @Laurawaddell responded: “Glasgow Queen Street ’s pivotal moment in popularity downfall was fixing the barriers into the toilets, making it no longer possible to just walk right through.” @Peternimmo1 said: “A bit pointless to describe Queen Street as ‘Britain’s worst station’ when it’s a building site and the terminus of a major electrification project.” @Dralakbarov commented: “Naming Glasgow Queen Street as the worst in Britain is idiotic. For crying out loud, the site is under construction.” @Maggieamcshane posted: “I have only fond memories of Glasgow Queen Street. I can’t wait to see what it’s like after its refurb.”

#APPLEIMAC

On May 6, 1998, Steve Jobs unveiled the imac. @Waltmossberg said: “The original imac was announced 20 years ago today. I was there. It saved the company. Smart product. Brilliant marketing.” @Clawrence wrote: “Dropping every legacy connector in favour of USB was genius. Made every other computer look old.” @Shaneymac posted: “The original imacs were the best - never had the heart to get rid of them - so they’re now part of the office furniture.” @Tony_salazar added: “I miss the bright colours. Space grey and rose gold just don’t have as much personality.”
