Hibernian High standards

-

Neil Lennon was justified in feeling slightly disappointed at not taking all three points at Pittodrie, his sentiments another example not only of the manager’s high standards, but also of how far this team has come in the last year. A draw was by no means a disaster, but Hibs had the better chances, including a missed penalty, and indeed we had a valid claim for a second penalty right at the death. However, it was a battling performance in a match which was more of a physical contest than one which will be remembered for moments of high quality.

Fingers crossed after last night’s derby we’ll go into the last game against rangers with a chance of finishing higher than fourth. In the circumstances, it would be a marvellous achievement.
