Ruffling feathers: Costume design students set to turn heads with flamboyant display of outlandish creations

-

Models get into character during a dress rehearsal for the costume design fashion show at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. This year’s flamboyant event, which showcases the work of costume design and construction students, is being staged at the capital’s oldest concert venue – St Cecilia Hall, located just off the Royal Mile.

Many graduates of the course have gone on to create costumes for theatre, film and television, with some working on popular shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, The Voice and Outlander as well as Holywood blockbusters such as Gravity.
