#RIPSCOTT

Thousands paid tribute to Scott Hutchison after it was confirmed that the lead singer of Frightened Rabbit had sadly died.

@aahh_no wrote: “Absolutely gutted. Frightened Rabbit & all the songs that Scott wrote were a huge part of my life. Can take small comfort in the fact that – having read some of the thousands of tributes – he truly did make tiny changes on earth. Rest easy.”

@Rfborthwick tweeted: “Can’t really find the words today. His music brought me some light in some of my darkest times and I’ll always be thankful for that. If you’re not having a great time, reach out and talk to someone. It’s okay to not be okay. Rest in peace, Scott.”

@cwoodger93 added: Can’t believe I’ve just read an obituary for Scott Hutchison, so sad. More needs to be done for men’s mental health in this country. Talking is great but we need provision of services, too.”

#ARCTICMONKEYS

The beloved band from Sheffield released their sixth studioalbum, Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, and fans were quick to give their take.

@Youngathanacius said: “The new Arctic Monkeys album is a drunk guy at a bar who won’t stop ranting at you about ‘society’ incoherently, in a very very bad way.”

@daniyellagueros added: “I’ve tried to listen to the new Arctic Monkeys album for the past couple hours and still don’t know how I feel.”

@kieranreilly_ wrote: “Arctic Monkeys consistently reinventing themselves and putting out class tunes.”

#LENNON

Hibs boss Neil Lennon failed to show for his Friday afternoon press conference amid speculation regarding his long-term future with the Easter Road club.

@Lauraainslie7 wrote: “Hearts fans slagging Lennon, a man who’s made a career out of winning trophies, when they have a dinosaur like Levein who’s never who a trophy in his puff. I know who’d I’d rather have in my teams dugout!”

@Homeofhibs said: “2 hours after waiting on Neil Lennon to do the press conference Garry Parker stepped up and said the gaffer is ill with the flu? Seems very suspect to me.”
