Tae Sup wi’ a Fifer
James Yorkston’s occasional intimate singaround returns for a new season with an eclectic line-up of songwriters, poets, musicians, writers and raconteurs. The first edition features Ian Mcmillan, above, reading from his latest poetry collection, To Fold The Evening Star, plus singer/songwriter activist Grace Petrie and ace troubadour Withered Hand. Future gatherings bring together alt-folk singer Michael Hurley, comedian Phill Jupitus and chanteuse Siobhan Wilson (16 June) and electronica artist Carl Stone, indie pop’s The Pictish Trail and Irish traveller Thomas Mccarthy (14 July).
