Superman star Margot Kidder dies
Hollywood actress Margot Kidder, who starred as Lois Lane in the Superman films, has died.
A funeral home in Livingston, Montana, where the actress lived, said Kidder died at her home on Sunday. No further details were given and messages left with Kidder’s representatives were not immediately returned.
Canadian-born Kidder, who also appeared in The Amityville Horror, and co-star Christopher Reeve, who played Superman, were relative unknowns when they got their leading parts, and neither saw many major roles afterward.
