Capital eatery to become new bar

Edinburgh’s Bruntsfield area is to gain a new bar after the sale of a local restaurant.

Licensed trade specialist Cornerstone Business Agents said it had sold the leasehold interest in the Himalaya restaurant to an “established Edinburgh pub and bar operator who has exciting plans to redevelop the unit”.

The final price for the leasehold interest was not disclosed by the firm yesterday.
