Third year for housing association’s traineeships

- By SCOTT REID

Kingdom Housing Association is to continue its trainee programme for the third year running, the Fife-based social landlord has confirmed. The programme was launched in 2016 and provides local people aged 16-24 with the opportunity to work full time in their chosen field for three or four years whilst studying for and gaining the qualifications they need to progress their career.

Bill Banks, chief executive with Kingdom, said: “We are very proud of the trainee and apprenticeship programmes we have implemented. They provide opportunities for young people that are not readily available. It contributes to our objective to be an employer of choice.”
