A greener God?

-

I wholly agree with Dr Charles Wardrop’s criticism of the General Assembly’s committee of scientifically challenged virtue signallers demanding that the Kirk and its few remaining members pull the investment plug on Scottish oil.

The Kirk isn’t exactly overendowed with scientists among its clergy but when any do appear at the General Assembly to urge caution before buying into the climate hysteria of the BBC et al they have been howled down.

If the “Fathers & Brethren” think this green lunacy will inspire a new generation of churchgoers they are sadly mistaken. The victims of such folly will be our most vulnerable citizens – and that should worry a national church. (REV DR) JOHN CAMERON
