Get on board: Transport giant Stagecoach invests in easier access coaches

-

Stagecoach has invested £2.7 million in a fleet of ten new coaches to improve public transport accessibility in Fife. Almost half of the vehicle’s seating is on a low level, allowing those with mobility issues and wheelchair users easier access. The coaches have been manufactured by Plaxton in conjunction with Bus Users Scotland and also feature leather reclining seats, free wifi access, USB charging points, air conditioning and a luggage hold. A second batch of coaches is due later in the year for other routes.
