In it to win it

Motherwell cruised into cup final mode with a 3-0 win over Hamilton on Saturday to end the league season. The line-up initially raised eyebrows – Stephen Robinson having promised to name a competitive team only 24 hours earlier – but it turned out the reserves could handle Accies with ease.

So we can move on to the main event with key players hopefully rested and ready to give everything for our shot at glory. There is a nagging feeling that something special may just be on.

Celtic are not the team they were this time last season and not as intimidating as in November. Nonetheless, their weaknesses come with the caveat “but they’re still better than us”. You have to be in it to win it though. It’s time to believe.
