Man stabbed in attempted murder

A man was stabbed and in an attempted murder in the east end of Glasgow.

The attack happened in Loch Achray Street, Sandyhills, around 9:30am on Sunday.

Emergency services attended and the 36-yearold was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He has since been released.

Police said the man may have been involved in a disturbance in the surrounding area which resulted in him being injured.

Officers have been gathering CCTV footage and are conducting door-todoor inquiries for further information.
