Biker critical after crash with BMW

A biker is in a critical condition after a serious road crash in East Ayrshire.

The 52- year-old man’s red Kawasaki motorcycle was involved in a collision with a silver BMW 5 series car yesterday.

The crash happened on the A71 near Mayfield Garage in Galston about 8am.

The motorcyclist was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock.

Hospital staff described his condition as critical. The 24- year- old BMW driver was not seriously injured.
