Pupils use glitch to get answers to spelling test
A computer glitch that has been allowing Scottish pupils sitting online spelling tests to right- click with their mouse and find the answer has been discovered.
The Scottish National Standardised Assessments had been introduced to assess progress in four different age groups. But teachers have since found children familiar with traditional computer spellcheckers were applying the tool to the tests.
The government said the issue had only affected a “small number” of questions.
