Man found lying in street with serious injuries

Am an has been found lying on a Glasgow street with serious head injuries.

The 28- year-old man was discovered in Netherhouse Place, Easterhouse, around 7: 15am yesterday morning.

Police believe h es ustained the injuries from an attack. The man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Appealling for witnesses, Detective Constable Phil Scally said: “We are trying to establish exactly what has happened to this man.

“His injuries indicate he has been assaulted. However, it’s not clear where the attack took place.”
