TA officer gets eight years’ jail for raping women

A former Territorial Army officer from Glasgow has been jailed for eight years for ra ping two women he met via a dating site.

Ex-lieutenant co lon el Philip Don egan ,50, from Knightswood raped a 33- year-old woman in her Paisley home and a 30 - year- old woman at his home. He met the pair through match. com.

Donegan – a former tax lecturer at Strathclyde University – was also yesterday found guilty of stalking the 33- year- old following the rape.

The High Court in Glasgow heard the first rape happened in October 2016.
