Man denies false fraud claims totalling £7,000
A man will appear in court charged with defrauding his bank of almost £7,000 by claiming to have been the victim of scams.
Adam Fraser, 23, denied accusations he falsely told fraud detection teams at Lloyds Banking Group that his Bank of Scotland card had been used repeatedly without his knowledge at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Prosecutors allege Mr Fraser prompted the bank reimburse him for a total of £6,895.38 for what he claimed were illegitimate transactions.
Mr Fraser has been ordered to appear at a pretrial hearing in July.
