#ROYALWEDDING

Royal Wedding fever appears to have set in in certain parts of the country as Prince Harry, the sixth in line to the throne, prepares to get married to Meghan Markle. The nuptials take place in Windsor tomorrow afternoon, with thousands expected to line the streets to wish the couple well.

@Kensingtonroyal revealed: “200 Amalfi lemons. 500 organic eggs from Suffolk. 20kgs of butter. 20kgs of flour. 20kgs of sugar. 10 bottles of Sandringham Elderflower Cordial. The baking of the #Royalwedding cake is under way!”

@Morningmoneyben wrote: “Radical hot take: Let those who enjoy #Royalwedding stuff enjoy it and if you don’t, don’t partake.”

@Regalwatcher added: “One thing I’m SUPER excited for, is the announcement of the titles that Harry and Meghan will take tomorrow.”

@Orientmeatpie countered: “State of these melts waiting for the #Royalwedding. Head to toe Union Jacks, the works. It’s like the Last Night of the Proms on steroids.”

@Muqadaam posted: “The £30 million taxpayers are funding for the royal wedding security is more than enough to house the Windsor homeless people and change their lives and we will still have money left over to help other homeless and children.”

#SCOTTISHCUPFINAL

Away from events in Windsor, there is another set piece event, this time in the sporting world as the Scottish Cup Final takes places in Hampden. Celtic are looking for a win to secure back-to-back domestic trebles, with Motherwell looking to spoil the party and secure their first national silverware since 1991.

@Scotlandsky reported: “Local school-children & fans have given the @ Motherwellfc team a rousing send off ahead of tomorrow’s final against #Celtic at Hampden Park @ Scottishcup.”

@Michael_buffer posted: “Now at L.A. airport about to depart for Glasgow and the SCOTTISH CUP on Saturday. Can’t wait, it’s going to be off the charts with the super fans at Hampden! #Letsgetreadytorumble.”

@GC_1508 predicted: “24 years ago United halted the unstoppable Rangers juggernaut from an unprecedented double treble. Firm belief Motherwell will do the same to Celtic tomorrow.”
