Huge Arthur’s Seat fire injures walker
A walker has been injured after a large wildfire flared across Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
The alarm was raised at around 1:40pm after gorse caught alight near the landmark’s summit.
About 30 firefighters using water backpacks tackled flames that could be seen from miles around.
The blaze sent large plumes of smoke drifting across the capital.
Paramedics are understood to have treated the casualty for a leg injury.
