Man’s face and neck slashed as he walked home

A man had his face and neck slashed in a residential street as he walked home in the early hours.

Police said the 33-yearold was attacked with a “sharp weapon” in East Kilbride at around 2:20am on Saturday.

The victim remains in hospital after the serious assault in Louis Braille Lea, near Scholar’s Gate.
