Man, 44, charged over fatal stabbing

Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in south London over the weekend have charged a suspect with murder.

Manimaran Selliah, 44, of London Road, Mitcham, has been charged with the murder of 28-year-old Arunesh Thangarajah in Mitcham on Sunday.

Selliah has also been charged with the attempted grievous bodily harm of a 35-year-old man. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
