Police name motorcyclist killed in crash

Police have named a motorcyclist who was killed in a road crash in West Lothian.

Nikki Grieve, 27, of Uphall, died after overtaking two cars on the A89 at Dechmont on Saturday.

Mr Grieve was travelling west on his green Kawasaki Z750 motorcycle when the collision happened at 1.15pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed until 7.30pm to allow investigations to be completed

Officers have appealed for witnesses to the collision to contact Police Scotland on 101.
