‘Significant’ fire ripped through industrial site

Fire crews were called to tackle a “significant” industrial fire on the edge of Perth.

Crews were called to the “large and well developed” fire in buildings in Friarton Bridge Park in the early hours of yesterday.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said seven appliances were in attendance at the height of the blaze, which was brought under control by around 6am.

Nobody was hurt.
