Former teacher denies child abuse charges

A pension er who al legedly abused si x children in Glasgow is set to stand trial.

Gerald King ,65, is accused of committing the crimes while working at St Martha’s Primary school in the city.

The charges covered the period from 1983 to 1989. Four boys and two girls at the school are alleged to have been abused.

King also faces a seventh charge of taking in decent images of children or allowing the photos to be taken.

He denied the charges at a Glasgow Sheriff Court hearing yesterday.
