Cinema collapse kills at least three

A number of people have been killed after a cinema collapsed in Argentina.

The building was being refurbished when it collapsed in the city of Tucuman, about 800 miles north of Buenos Aires, according to reports.

Three people are believed to have been killed and rescue officials say more could be trapped under the rubble. Locals reported hearing an explosion at the time of the collapse on Wednesday but firefighters said they are still investigating the possible causes of the incident.

The building was about 90 years old and had for decades housed the Parravicini cinema.
