Engie lands position on key Scottish framework
Energy and services firm Engie has been appointed to a Scottish procurement framework aimed at ramping up housing provision north of the Border.
The firm has landed a place on the £1.5 billion Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) framework.
The alliance brings together 70 public-sector organisations, including local authorities and social landlords, and the framework seeks to support the Scottish Government’s aim of delivering 50,000 new homes by 2021.
SPA has confirmed that Engie has been appointed to all local authority areas across east, north-east, south-west and southern Scotland.
The firm’s regeneration business – formerly Keepmoat Regeneration – is already delivering several key projects across these regions, including refurbishment, energy efficiency and new build, mixed tenure housing schemes.
Engie’s Stevie Nugent said: “This is a fantastic investment programme which will make a positive difference to the lives of local people.”
