Toddler’s buggy struck in hit-and-run

A two-year-old boy escaped serious injury after a hit-and-run incident in Paisley.

The toddler’s buggy was struck by a 4x4 on a crossing in Ferguslie Park Avenue around 1:40pm on Wednesday afternoon. The boy was checked by ambulance staff but did not sustain serious injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A white 4x4 car struck a buggy carrying a two year-old boy as it entered a crossing. The driver and car were later traced but we are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.”
