Ferry good news?

The next Northlink ferries contract will go out to competitive tender next month rather than be awarded to a public sector operator, transport minister Humza Yousaf told MSPS.

“Through the consultation process, it’s become clear the preference of the local communities is for this contract to be put out to tender, rather than a direct award to an in-house operator” Wouldn’t it be nice if this was really the case throughout Scotland rather than have companies that are on the “list” and preferred bidders, the SNP are twofaced hypocrites.

Oh give it up, this service has been atrocious for more than 20 years. Calmac made a mess of it (as only they can do) and Serco sucked the life out of it (as only they can do).
