Jo’s joy

Our favourite facialist, Jo Laxton of Glasgow’s 33Dowanhill, now uses her alchemic expertise to hand blend oils for her clients (Signature Facial £75 for an hour). When we visited, to help us deal with dehydration, fine lines and lack of tone, she created this rich mixture of cold-pressed oils including apricot kernel, grape seed and sunflower seed, as well as neroli, lavender, rose geranium and calendula. It smells beautiful, with a lush texture that makes it easy to massage into skin for instant radiance.
