Probe after body found in woodland

Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found in a wood in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow. Police said it was discovered near Southdeen Road on Sunday.

The death is being treated as unexplained, according to police.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

A police spokesman: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
