Camanachd Cup holders’ Lochaber test

Holders Newtonmore head for Spean Bridge today to play Lochaber in the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup second round. More have Norman Campbell fit again but Glen Mackintosh is out and Michael Russell is banned.

Lovat, the 2017 beaten finalists, return to Skye where they’ve already won twice this season. Skye’s Kenny Campbell plays despite having ten stitches in two head wounds.

Kinlochshi­el host Oban Camanachd at Kirkton; Glenurquha­rt, boosted by keeper Stuart Mackintosh’s return, face Kyles Athletic at Blairbeg; Fort William and Oban Celtic meet for the third consecutiv­e Saturday; Inveraray welcome Kilmallie and Bute host Beauly.

Kingussie and Caberfeidh meet at The Dell in the day’s only Marine Harvest Premiershi­p match.
