MACKIE Ian (John Henry)

(Kirkcaldy / Cupar) Peacefully, at Rosturk Care Home, Cupar, on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Ian, aged 97 years, originally from Kirkcaldy but late of Cupar, formerly Agricultural Officer in Sudan, market gardener and Head of Agriculture at Elmwood College. Loving husband of the late Marion and father to Gordon and Alan. Family service to be held at Kirkcaldy Crematorium, on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 10.15 am, followed by a service of Thanksgiving at Cupar Baptist Church, at 12 noon, to which all friends and family are respectfully invited. Refreshments will be served after the service. Family flowers only, please. Donations if so desired, can be made to the Bishop Mubarak Fund – Women's Education Partnership. He trekked into Nuba.
