Cannabis plants found after tip off

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of half a million pounds were seized at a business premises in the Tollcross Road area of Glasgow on Friday. Greater Glasgow CID executed a search warrant as part of an intelligen­ce-led operation.

Inquiries are ongoing to identify those responsibl­e.

Detective Inspector Steven Elliott said “Drugs and the people who supply them have no place in our communitie­s, we have teams of specialist officers working to tackle this issue. Anyone with informatio­n should contact police on 101.
