Saunders fight off due to injury

BOXING Billy Joe Saunders has pulled out of his WBO middleweight title defence against Martin Murray on 23 June.

The fight at the O2 Arena had been scheduled for 14 April before Saunders suffered a hand injury.

“Due to an injury suffered by Billy Joe Saunders, he has had to withdraw from his June 23rd fight,” promoter Frank Warren said on his Twitter account.
