Package deal: Mclaren opening new site after netting seven-figure bank funding
Mclaren Packaging is set to bring more jobs to Stirling when it opens its new manufacturing, design and testing centre this month. The drinks packaging supplier has secured a seven-figure funding package from Bank of Scotland to complete the move to the 20,000 square-foot facility on a greenfield site at Broadleys Business Park, enabling it to boost production and sales amid record Scotch whisky exports. The firm – via its investment in Blue Box Design that it acquired in 2013 – plans to create ten new roles over the next four years, bringing the team to 45.
